The Surface Water Treatment Plant for Payra Port Authority was developed to strengthen water supply infrastructure in Kalapara, Patuakhali, and support the operational requirements of one of Bangladesh's important port development areas.

The project was undertaken for the Payra Port Authority and involved the construction of a modern Surface Water Treatment Plant (SWTP) with a capacity of 250,000 liters per hour. The project covered the design, development, construction and implementation of an integrated surface water treatment facility capable of supporting reliable access to treated water.

Completed between October 2015 and November 2016, the project represents an important contribution to the development of sustainable water infrastructure in the Kalapara area.

With a treatment capacity of 250,000 liters per hour, the Surface Water Treatment Plant was designed to address significant water supply requirements through a dedicated and reliable treatment system.
